Hello friends! I wanted to share with you this amazing book Loneliness Solution. Finding meaningful connection in a disconnected world by Jack Eason. We're going through a rather difficult time with this pandemic.
Many people are alone and not being able to see their family and friends. In these times technology has served as a bridge of connection. But we can still feel very alone. We've lost some human contact. I found this book very interesting to reconnect not only with others but also with ourselves. We can't lose faith.
I felt identified by the book because I have eight years that I haven't been able to see my family. I moved from the country and my friends were left on Facebook scattered in different countries thanks to communism.
Jack Eason throughout the book not only sets out examples to connect but also interacts with us through exercises. Through his pages he becomes that bridge, a friend. I thought it was amazing that he was looking to connect with his readers. He even shared his email: jack@jackeason.com
This book seems to me a beautiful gift in these holidays. One of the main topics are: learn the obstacles to real community, discover a place of true belonging, reimagine what real friendship looks like.
It also talks about the importance of companies and their goal of helping to connect more people. ''to inspire and nurture the human spirit'' in reference for example to starbucks. Very intereresting book. I highly recommend you to get it.
