What to wear in the summer?

Life & Beauty Weekly: English Content

It's so hard to know what to wear to work in the summer, with hot humid air outside and cold A/C blowing indoors. What wardrobe basics can I use to be comfortable inside and out?

It’s the ultimate fashion challenge: How do you dress for days when you’ll be facing both 90-degree temps and offices blasting arctic air? With a little wardrobe strategy, you can be comfortable and chic everywhere you go.
First, make sure your wardrobe includes a few basics in light fabrics with relaxed fits. Save the fitted pants and body-clinging structured tops for fall, and instead go for breezy maxis and tunics and flowy tops and pants.
Next, remember that layering is key. Lightweight linen or cotton blazers always look professional and polished (even over casual tanks and tees). Especially in summer, it’s important to keep a neutral cardigan stashed at your desk for transitioning between environments. To finish your look, choose open-toe flats, heels or wedges that let your feet breathe.
Last but not least, don’t forget your face. Wearing less makeup in the summer helps keep your face fresh and natural. Stash a bottle of hydrating cucumber or citrus face mist in a drawer (or better yet, the fridge). Spritz it on to keep your makeup in place and give your skin an instant, cooling treat.
