This cook book "French Country Cooking Meals and moments from a village in the Vineyards" by Mimi Thorisson is just wonderful. It comes full of great recipes. The book contents are: N01 Rue de Loudenne; a family restaurant; Goüter; the importance of L'apéro; starters; main courses; Sunday suppers en famille; staff meals; side dishes; and desserts. It has 335 pages.

One of my favorites recipes are: fig and pistachio cake; lobster bisque; mashed potatoes with fennel; chestnut bread; fresh fig tart with honey and orange flower water; walnut cake; and strawberry tart.

I enjoy a lot the photos they are very good. The food look delicious and she has a beautiful family and home. I like the presentation of the table. The French food is very tasty and the recipes are explain in order. I highly recommend you to get this cook book for the holidays because you can find desserts and great meals.
